Ask HN: Will Microsoft's Embrace of Chromium Hurt Google?
I've been playing recently with the new(-ish) Microsoft Edge browser on my Mac - the one based on Chromium, and I have to say I'm pretty impressed.
One thing I noticed is that Bing is the default search engine, and second, that Bing has gotten pretty good (search for "restaurants" and compare the information & layout versus Google).
So here's my question - will this change lead to an increase in Bing market share and therefore lower searches/revenue for Google?
