Ask HN: What are other places for “programminghelp”?

This morning I answered a question on "programminghelp":

https://www.reddit.com/r/programminghelp/comments/wge1ws/comment/ij2arzn/?context=3

But was told I did a little too much and violated a rule by just coding the whole thing.

Is there a place (on reddit or anywhere) that doesn't have this rule?

Link wasn't clickable, lazily highlighted and hit search and Google found me this page but not the Reddit page. No other results from the search. Pasting into the address bar does at least (still?) work instead of automatically searching Google for it.

For op, you might like the code review stackexchange site. https://codereview.stackexchange.com/

Stackoverflow is the place where copy-pasteable answers are appreciated.

Why do you want to code the whole thing and give away that code? You are at best giving them a fish instead of teaching how to fish, and worse case you are helping someone cheat on an assignment for free.

reddit mods are fucking snowflakes, stay out of it.
