Cleaners at Twitter's headquarters in San Francisco have told the BBC they were sacked without severance pay.

One of them told the BBC a member of Elon Musk's team had said their jobs would be replaced by robots.

    They didnt work for Twitter to begin with. Imagine hiring a contractor and waking up to that contractors employees picketing your facility.

      I just posted it for the robots quote really and to see how many Twitter haters will upvote it. Obviously treating contractors like garbage is nothing new in any Big Tech company, I was treated same way when working for Microsoft (and mind you I was not cleaner).
