Hey! I agree how it can be suspicious, but I'm still between crossroads on how to price this. Pricing won't come anytime soon, till all the `Coming Soon` things are on prod (since I wouldn't like to sell on the promise), but when it does come out, it won't be a SaaS pricing that's for sure.
It'd be either 29$/39$ one time pricing that gets you for now want to say 1 year of updates (but unsure if that's the right way, could just be lifetime), with you bringing your own key, so that you can manage OpenAI pricing.
Thanks for the vote of confidence. Also yeah it won't brick, since it'll just be lifetime.
Which is why I want to only start charging when the features listed are all on prod, so that it atleast would seem like I'm selling a feature filled product, and anything new is just a bonus.

Thanks for the suggestion! And would like to know how best to ask folks about this, since I don't take your emails or any info when downloading the app currently
This one is free: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=36123175
But beware that these wrappers require an API key, which is a separate cost from ChatGPT subscription.
No pricing information available. I'm suspicious of products that are first offered for free and once they gain traction, they start charging.

Does that sound fair?
Either of those sounds quite fair, as long as the software isn't bricked once the year is up.
Wouldn't even consider a subscription.
