Is dalle-3 available through API yet? If not, then I think the title is reasonable. Having to have a chat GPT subscription in order to use it is a major change, and in my opinion a sun setting of the previous.
What a useless article. Incredibly cringe as well.
Initial beta testers just seem salty that their original private club was expended as others got access and now pine for the small community of people who had that early access. All for a model eclipsed by DALL-E 3. I cannot take any of these people seriously.
The article itself doesn’t seem to know what it’s about meandering into AI ethics in the middle before waxing poetic about an old model.
It read to me as if the people who had early access really just liked the attention they got from being the only people posting these new types of images and only now, that the common riff-raff had access, do they want to start considering the “ethics” of it all. My eyes cannot roll hard enough at these hipsters.
Weird-ass title. OpenAI is sunsetting DALL-E 2 in favor of DALL-E 3.

Still a weird title. There seem to be words missing too.
You can generate images through the api, but edits and variations have not made it to the dall-e 3 api.
Luckily I managed to read it through the annoying cookie prompt's overlay.

Also: “forged friendships”, spare me.
They really need to bring out the Edits API point before they shut it down for good
