With To Lam now de facto #2 in Vietnam and being primed to be the #1 by 2026, expect Vietnam to become much more insular over the next few years, especially with the resignations happening the past few weeks.
The VCP has supposedly passed Directive 24 as well [0] (caution though as I'm hearing mixed statements about it's veracity) which appears to be used to limit relations between foreign investors and Vietnamese out of worries about potential internal instability like in SK in the 1980s.
