What's disturbing is the number of comments on the NYT article from Mr. Wallace's astroturfing team attempting to still convince people that Baldoni was the real victim.
WME fired him as a client this morning, just hours after this article was posted. Agencies don't do that just because something bad gets said about a client (for comparison, Jonathan Majors' agency didn't end their relationship until after several weeks after he was charged with domestic violence and the video of the incident was publicly released). This means WME already knew about the allegations and had third party support[1] for those allegations, and were sitting on that information hoping for the drama to die down.
[1] Baldoni's misbehavior became an open secret in Hollywood after the entire rest of the cast of the movie refused to be associated with him during the press campaign for the movie.
Another place that clearly was seeded as part of the effort to destroy her was TMZ. Look at this article that is focused on reactions from anonymous twitter accounts, which we now know were part of an astroturf campaign:
> They and Mr. Heath, the chief executive, are all deeply involved with the Baha’i religious organization, which promotes unity, peace and gender equality.
Is that a normal way to refer to the Baha’i faith? (I know very little about it, but that phrasing comes off as weird).
And would it be okay to comment on ‘deep involvement’ for any other faith?

I hope Lively is able to extract a pretty penny from the parties involved (if not deep six them). What an aggravating read.
