Saw that after posting this. I feel like a dumb.
That account is a bot. Not an insult as it is a useful bot. But that is why they spotted it.
I'm not a bot. Obviously a bot would be programmed to say that, but they wouldn't make my typos.
I suspect you are a human that also has a bot running on the same account name. If not you are using a tool. If not you are an avid digital archaeologist.
You should probably allay @hlloyd1925's fears you were accusing them. No automation, just sometimes paying attention.
:done:
No, just a new user.
Didn't mean you, sorry for the confusion.
Don't feel like a dumb.
I am super paranoid about losing old.reddit. When I saw the "you broke reddit" page, this was also my first thought.
I for one don’t blame you for panic posting … so much is turning to shit these days…

There's an outage currently. 3rd-party mobile clients (RedReader, Stealth) also won't load.
That's awful. I only access Reddit through there. Let's hope it comes back. Back in 2023 Huffmann said that it would stay, but I guess that could somewhat go against their plan of inserting paywalls? We'll see.
>P.S. old.reddit.com isn't going anywhere, and explicit content is still allowed on Reddit as long as it abides by our content policy.
Looks like it's back. False alarm. Sorry.
Looks like it's back. False alarm, everybody.
Reddit down? Must be a day ending in y.
