Ask HN: Anyone Have Experience with Archipelo?

1 points by geckoherder 7 hours ago

Archipelo is a tool that "[empowers] developers and enterprises to understand the context of how their code is created so they can verify code provenance, build secure software, and be more productive."

It appears to use IDE plugins and browser extensions to track what developers do on their machines, including tracking copy/pastes from Stackoverflow and LLM sites. It also has some compliance/enforcement capabilities I believe.

They had a press release come out today: https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2025/02/28/3034691/0/en/Archipelo-Emerges-from-Stealth-with-12M-in-Funding-to-Tackle-the-Next-Frontier-in-Cybersecurity-Developer-Security-Posture-Management.html

I didn't see any previous discussions here on this tool. Anyone work with (or under the observation of) Archipelo before?
