Ask HN: How important is tone in the YC founder video?
I applied to YC a day before the deadline and shot the founder video (I'm a single founder) - but have been told that I looked slightly robotic in the video by some friends - not as expressive or lively as I normally am or could have been. I guess this also comes in lieu of some YC videos been done really well like a carol singing group (no shade, this is just a close comparison).
But I do want to know how much this matters in the application. I understand one can still resubmit/update the video, so I want to know if it really is a major thing.
