Before assuming a pulled model, worth checking status.claude.com-the last "they quietly removed it" thread this week turned out to be an outage that got fixed within hours.
I don't know -- it's not even showing Fable in /usage any more, in sessions that were using it just fine moments before. Seems more like a backend change to me.

Tought it would be reinstated by updating claude code but doesnt seem to be the case.
