It's actively unhelpful even for the most "non-technical" of users to further anthropomorphize LLMs and "agentic" workflows that boil down to moving plaintext around
The design is cute but this is an abstraction that simply has no reason to exist, and is the opposite of what better UX looks
I actually like the design. It's the product of a human and it's fun. It also feels like it's playing with jokes about brain-rot aesthetic so communicates a contemporary and young point of view. It's cool.
The thing it's selling doesn't appeal to me in the slightest but they have tried and have some human ideas in the webdesign. Cool design if cringe product
I think that's the point, no? The page is light on text but appears to be some kind of weird art project making fun of the inane "helpful and friendly" personas given to LLM chatbots

This website is not very user friendly. Huge amount of assets to load, an unclear product, and a visually distracting experience.
probably built with Berd

Fittingly for an AI page, the "Easter egg" page lags my phone significantly.
It also paused the music I had playing
The button did tell you not to click it.
I know my office computer isn't very powerful, but holy lag batman! I get between 1 and 10 FPS on that website.
Keeping aside the functionality of the app, the vibe of the web page and those mascots is NOT IT. They are unsettling and creepy
You can love it or hate it but it's unforgettable
I will forget about it by Friday.
Creepy and cringe is recent mega trend. I feel like early 90s and its pseudo-cyber-punk.
Nevertheless, Berd’s homepage is like Teletubbies and Thomas The Tank Engine have babies :)

Are you sure? Given it’s from Block I really cannot tell if it is some meta irony or serious
green is not a creative color
Digital style.
Wtf is this shit? The page nuked my browser, then I got a jump scare from the weird sounds. What's wrong with them?
Coming off of a full 24 hour incident response and clicking this has me wondering about my choices.
nb: this is by block (https://block.xyz)
thanks for sharing this. Maybe interesting for others who missed it: block was previously square. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Block,_Inc.
Branding is crazy good
I can see crazy but I'm struggling to find any good.
Not to be confused with Berd spokes/wheels.
