It took me minutes to find what it actually cost, which is $50/month for the cheapest, 256MB deployment.
Looks cool, but this info should be easier to get to. Tell us what resources we get in a "nano", "micro", etc. and how much they cost. That's the first and usually only thing I look at with these.
Thanks, this is very useful information. I'll improve pricing information ASAP also I'm working on driving container costs down. It will take some work but I'm sure I can drop the cost by ~50%+ when I'm done.
The site claims they have an editor "ICE" as open-source software. But that is a lie: it is not open source, but shareware or such.
They also accept contributions released only under the no-commercial-use-allowed license, so any dual licensing under a commercial-use-allowed license would be out of the window once a contribution gets merged.
Not sure what their business model is if they forbid commercial use. I guess selling commercial use licenses in violation of the no-commercial-use-allowed license?
I'll be honest with you, I wan't sure what to do with ICE licence, PolyForm Noncommercial felt reasonable, I'll make the wording clearer. Do you think I should go MIT?
