Looks a lot like https://radio.garden.

    Radio Garden is the OG. I've been seeing quite a few vibe-born clones of Radio Garden recently. E.g. https://airdrift.stream too

      GeoRadios goes in a slightly different direction. I'm also working on something that I think will make it quite different. More soon.

        I did find some remaining room for improvement myself.

        Don't think I'll ever be able to get even as far as the image of a globe without reducing browser security & privacy.

        IOW the website acts like it's just another complete dud.

        While radio.garden works just fine at the same exact browser settings.

    Stations outside the UK are unavailable…

    Is everyone restricted to their country?

I once had the idea to try to use talk-radio for language learning -- i did something like this and hooked it up to vosk, https://ccoreilly.github.io/vosk-browser/ . Since you've already categorized the talk-radio stations -- you could add this functionality -- I don't really think my idea was strong enough for a full SaaS business -- but it could complement your site.

    That's a really cool idea.

Thousands of live radio stations from around the world. No ads, no login.

- Spin the Earth, click a country, and a live station starts playing;

- "Surprise me" drops you somewhere random in the world;

- Immersive mode: audio-reactive visuals that change with the genre;

- Free, installable as an app;

Built with React + Three.js; the globe uses NASA Blue Marble imagery and station data is refreshed daily from Radio-Browser.

Would love to know where you land first.

This is very cool! I started in my own country. The globe really adds to the experience though because it feels a litte like travelling. Also fun to see what they play on these small islands in the middle of the ocean.
