Show HN: A GitHub contribution for my newborn's feedings, turned into SaaS

Hi HN, I am a new dad, and as I started paternity leave I had all this time on my hands and started building with Claude.

I built a GitHub contribution chart for my baby’s feeding and one thing led to another. I had a full blown baby tracker in a week. People liked it, the pricing of everything else was obscene so I decided to make it open for other parents with the idea that I keep building it as my baby grows.

We’re not trying to make money, just paying the postgres bill. And it was nice to connect with my wife while building something together, she’s not technical, but she can build!

We also wrote (well, Claude did, my wife keeps saying she wants to rewrite it) our story, and we called the product like our son.

There is a demo page here https://fennimore.milo.baby/demo.

I then hooked it up to an agent for stats, and also automated my Divoom (see https://imgur.com/a/iKat7rD)

We’re entering a phase where software costs nothing to build and nothing to run, and I am ready for the “Parents that code phase of my life”.

I love this. Also curious how other parents that code who have older kids are using new tools to help navigate their family thru different phases. Personalized software opens up infinite possibilities so it’s interesting to hear what’s working for people.
