Ask HN: Do you also feel that it's impossible to keep up with AI?
I have a tech background, I haven't been super active in coding or other things, but I still play with stuff a lot. And yet, in the past ~2 years, I often feel that it's pretty much impossible to keep up with the latest AI development (in particular regarding vibe coding), which in turns gives me less energy or determination to explore the latest thing. How do you feel about it? And did you find a solution to stay motivated to learn and get better at using AI?
If you're not "super active" in any technical field, you're going to fall behind.
It's no different from keeping up with whatever tech stack you use's constant evolutions.
Impossible? No, I think that's probably overstating it. It's a new, exciting and rapidly evolving landscape. It can seem impossible if you're waiting for progress to pause in order to get your bearings but that's the impossible ask. I think you have to enjoy the pursuit rather than hoping it will stop moving or slow down for you.
