following AfD's adoption of more hardline Islamophobic,
anti-immigration positions, and historical revisionist remarks
by leading AfD figures.
The party resembled other populist radical right parties in Europe
but was somewhat unusual in its choice to maintain visible ties to
even more extreme groups.
The party has been described as more ideologically radical than
many other European far-right and right-wing populist parties
Equally true would be that Europe does not need religion.
But speaking to that point: Although I am no longer theist, I spent many days doing religion-funded community service (disaster rebuilding, food distribution, community service) that was nothing but filling in a bit of the holes that are continually left by society.
And to be clear, much of that religious sourced aid is done by Islamic outreach entities.
Once society's holes are reliably filled, we can responsibly discuss depreciating religion.
If the desire is to eradicate one religion (or all but one), the Crusades taught a lot about how that goes.
This objectively pertains to this communities interests in a very serious, important way, but I fear it won't last long :( Thus is the truly terrifying part of the rise of the far-right in the west: being in a pro-Nazi party is seen as a valid political stance again. Just another perspective to consider with measured tones and civil discourse.
DHH? I don't know him so I don't care what his political kinks are. When he starts worrying about mine then I'll worry about his. Actually, no, I still won't care about his.
This is being posted as if it's controversial. AfD just won in multiple democratic elections. Democracy is working.
Oh if it's winning in some elections it can't be controversial. Carry on
DHH's fondness for AfD arose
which really seems to work for him.

The point of fascism is to worry about other peoples politics. Not seeing that is kinda delusional, ya know.
